In addition to our sweet botrytis dessert wine, the most valuable Grands Crus and Premiers Crus of each vintage are cellared here for a long time in ideal conditions offering peace, quiet and darkness. Our renowned vertical tastings provide impressive evidence of this.
The museum stock is the heart of our wine cellar. After all, it is here that we store the most precious items our Estate has to offer. The most valuable Grands Crus and Premiers Crus as well as sweet botrytised dessert wines are stored here very carefully for generations to come. The treasures stored here are an expression of the deep respect we show for the god-given quality of these, our best wines.
In really exceptional vintages, in addition to our Grands Crus and Premiers Crus, top-rated and exceptional Riesling wines from the most valuable vineyard sites of the Mittelhaardt region, we will also produce sweet botrytis dessert wine with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.
Here, monuments for eternity are created. Predominantly produced from the Riesling grape, the cellar is stocked with Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese wines dating back to the 1900 vintage.
