Our Philosophy
The Dr. Bürklin-Wolf winery in Wachenheim, whose tradition as a genuine family winery dates back to 1597, is one of the highlights of German wine culture. From a treasure trove of top sites in Forst, Wachenheim, Deidesheim and Ruppertsberg, we produce top Rieslings in harmony with nature.
Terroir
For many years, the return to the concept of terroir has been our expression of respect for our soil and its very own character. From 1990 onwards, we began to classify our appellations according to our own strict criteria.
Appellations
We call the origins of our Rieslings, which are protected for our most valuable wines, appellations. In a deeper understanding, however, they encompass much more, they represent the essence of all the influencing factors of a particular site manifested in the wine.
Our Tasting Room
The tasting room in the English Garden offers the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of the Dr. Bürklin-Wolf winery and taste the current vintage. During opening hours, you are also welcome to enjoy a glass in this beautiful place.
